Azoospermia
Azoospermia is the absence of sperm in the ejaculate. Azoospermia is common today, and even before this diagnosis was not uncommon. Another thing is that before there was an IVF program and such men could not be helped. Today, technology allows us to solve such problems.
Independently diagnose azoospermia is impossible, since the main symptom of azoospermia in most cases is the impossibility of conception. If the couple had a hitch in planning the baby, it makes sense to be examined by both spouses.
The most important analysis that allows to determine the fertility of a man is a spermogram (sperm test).
Spermogram will show the quantitative content of sperm, their mobility and structure. Low sperm content or lack thereof in the analysis may indicate azoospermia.
It must be borne in mind that recently experienced diseases, stress, and so on may affect these indicators. If the indicators differ from the norm, it is necessary to retake the analysis in two weeks and, if the results are the same, contact an andrologist.
